Roundtable Presenter - Starting Over When You Don’t Know Where to Start
A guide for teaders when things do not go the way you ptanned.
ln this presentation I hope to hetp each sister to recognize the path they are
tooking for may tay outside the one they are most famitiar with. As leaders,
others took to us for answers and the anSWerS we give may seem tike a
promise but what happens when a teader breaks a promise or life breaks
promises to them?
We witl. take a few minutes to learn from each other what promises we were
abte to keep, and which ones were not possibte to keep as wetl as what
happens when we encounter the broken arrow in our lives when others do not
or cannot keep their promises.
Brenda Sampson is originally from Eastern Tennessee where, from a young age, she began learning the history and customs of her family through her Cherokee grandmother. She has always felta connection with her Native culture and never misses an opportunity to support her Native community especially empowering women owned and operated enterprises.
For the past 35 years, she has made her home in Arizona being active in the business community as an entrepreneur, project manager and business development consultant. She began her career in business development after working as both a Realtor and Financial Planner in 1985 in North Carolina before relocating with her family to Arizona in 1989. Her business, Sampson and Associates of Arizona, focuses on ways to help small business flourish by networking instead of competing against each other. By understanding where they are in their business and personal life, they can create a better roadmap of where they want to be. She believes that there is a little bit of entrepreneur in all of us and that when we help one another, we all win. It is important to establish personal goals instead of goals others select for you.
Since 1989, she has worked as an independent business development consultant, she has been instrumental in the growth and development of many businesses and coached individuals toward discovering and reaching their personal and professional goals. With a focus on business development, management, goal setting as well as team building, she has been able to bring people closer to their ultimate goals by guiding them through the process of creating their own roadmap for success. The role played in building and networking a business can be a journey with many twists and turns, but a path that is well worth the effort.
