Dougherty Tsalabutie, (Pueblo of Zuni) is the Director of the National Center for American Indian Health Professions at A.T. Still University and works to help American Indian and Alaska Natives transition into healthcare professions on all the campuses of AT Still University; Mesa, Arizona; Kirksville, Missouri; and Santa Maria, California. Dougherty has over 30 years of experience in Student Services; admissions, retention, advisement, financial aid, recruitment and has worked with many tribes within the United States. Dougherty has a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science with other degrees in Communication: Television/Radio and Business Education Administrative Services. Currently, Dougherty is completing a doctorate degree in Health Education.
