Fawn Tahbo, is of Tewa and Hopi decent from the Colorado River Indian Reservation. She obtained her degree in Cultural Preservation from Arizona State University (Go Devils!). Fawn found her pathway in in the education system within her tribal government. Fawn started her career pathway as a new graduate through Head Start as the ERSEA Manager helping families enroll children and tracking them for retention. She soon accepted a position with the Colorado River Indian Tribes as the Career Development Director. Fawn remained in post-secondary education for 10 years working to help applicants receive scholarships for Adult Vocational and Higher Education students. She recently returned to the Metro area and has taken a position with the Phoenix Indian Center as the Program Manager for the College and Career Readiness Program.
