Ginger Sunbird Martin, When Ginger stands in front of a room ready to begin a presentation on cultural diversity and inclusion
education, she’ll share one of her favorite quotes: “Small people talk about other people, average
people talk about things, but great people talk about ideas. Today we are going to talk about ideas!”
Her passion for her work is unmistakable!
Ginger has dedicated her life’s work to bringing people to the table to create solutions for indigenous
communities. She began her career as a trainer in the Hospitality industry and later in the Healthcare
field. She started her company in 2011, Sunbird Enterprises, when a colleague suggested she take her
passion and ability to create sustainable results to a broader base. Today she serves tribal governments,
hospitals, schools, casinos, and Native communities around the country.
When Ginger noticed the alarming disparity in Behavior Health solutions for her Native friends and
families, she decided to open her Behavioral Health company, Point of Choice. The doors opened on
September 22, 2021, with a curriculum that concentrates a Native American real-world issues with
measurable outcomes for indigenous peoples. “I’m building something different that works for Native
people. Our program is designed to offer solutions to real healing.”
